Jason Blight, Interim Children’s Pastor
(jason@fbcnevada.org)

Jason is the interim Children’s Pastor. His desire is to support and compliment parents as they help their children know Jesus as saviour, love him as a friend, and follow him as King.  He wants kids to know God’s Word in their hearts so that Jesus can constantly be speaking to them throughout the day. Communication is a key to any relationship and it is important for children to be able to hear and talk with God in order to form a real and lasting relationship with Him.

Jason met his wife Ashley at FBC Nevada when he was the Youth Pastor. He has enjoyed being a stay at home dad since their first son was born in 2009. They now have 4 boys (Carter, Caleb, Cason, and Carver).

Jason loves spending time with his family. He tries to take them on lots of different adventures serving the Lord, and enjoying the wonderful creation that God has made. They go hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking, and camping together. As well as read stories, build with Legos, build puzzles, and play with trains.
